Laptop Charging Lockers

As technology advances, portable computers such as laptops and notebooks are becoming more powerful and are increasingly the computer of choice for many users. With the benefit of portability comes also a need to store portable computers when they are not in use and further more there is also a need to provide a means of recharging the computers’ batteries.

The GS Industries range of Laptop Charging Lockers provides safe storage for laptop computers. Each locker is fitted with a series of 3-pin plug sockets that allow users to recharge their computer using the laptop’s own power cable and transformer. Each laptop is placed horizontally on a shelf that is ventilated to allow heat to be dissipated.

There are four units in the range. First there are two units designed to hold up to eight laptops. The first of these has eight doors while the second just has one, being suitable for uses when simultaneous access to laptops is required. These units are 1000mm tall. The other two units in the range hold up to 12 laptops and stand 1460mm from the ground. As with the first two units, there is a choice of single door or multiple door variants.

The open aperture for the laptop compartment in all the ranges is 100mm (h) x 375mm (w) x 470mm (d). The range is fully CE approved. A copy of the Declaration of Conformity is available from the Downloads tab at the top of this page.

All Laptop Charging Lockers are finished with an attractive gloss powder coating which includes Germ Guard. Not only does this make them easy to clean, but provides protection for the users. Germ Guard is an antibacterial paint that is proven to reduce the spread of E.coli and MRSA.
